How Scam Savvy Are You?
We are passionate about creating a secure, fun, and productive digital experience for you by spreading awareness and providing tools that help you and your loved ones stay alert so you all can detect, prevent and avoid scammers.
Each year there are more and more internet users. Internet World Stats estimates that as of June 30, 2022, there were 8 billion internet users.
Every year, the number of online scams and scammers continues to rise, posing an ever-growing threat to individuals. This poses a significant concern as they can deceive unsuspecting individuals and lead to financial or personal losses.
Knowing that:
- There were over 1.25 million children (1 in 50), just in the US alone who were victims of identity theft
- Globally, $10.5 trillion will be lost to scammers annually by 2025
- Only 5 to 10% of people report they have been a victim of fraud
- Bank accounts are being drained
- Hearts are being broken
- People are dying by suicide
SPI was created to educate and bring awareness to individuals, businesses and consumers of the many types of scams, how to avoid being scammed and how to report the scam. This information is presented in a clear, concise, and simple format that also includes graphics that help even the least experienced users stay alert and safe while accessing the internet.
It is so important to remain alert and informed about fraudulent activities to protect yourself from becoming a victim.

There are a number of people being scammed, worldwide. The amount of money being lost, lives lost, and the heartbreak and mental health issues that are caused are staggering. My passion is to bring awareness to you; to educate you on how to spot various types of scams, how to prevent being scammed, the importance of reporting scams, and how to approach those who you think may be being scammed.
Having your identification stolen, bank account emptied, losing your home, having your heart broken, or losing someone to suicide is devastating.
How do I know this?
I was scammed.
